Company History

Dr. Steve Jones founded Jones Environmental in 1991 with a clear purpose: deliver high-quality environmental testing backed by scientific integrity and personal accountability. Today, that mission continues under the leadership of his son, Chris Jones, and longtime team member and co-owner Colby Wakeman. From its humble roots, the company has grown into a trusted, 30+ person laboratory with both fixed and mobile capabilities. As a multi-generational business, Jones remains grounded in its original values: precision, transparency, and a steady commitment to doing the work right.
